Feedjit is a java applet that displays visits to your blog in real time. At the bottom of the sidebar to the right, you’ll find a map and a listing of where visitors are coming from (you’re probably on top right now). In a similar position on the Informal Learning blog, you can see today’s most popular pages and (via collaborative filtering) recommendations of other pages you may like.
This stuff is very easy to install (unless you use WordPress.com, which doesn’t permit javascripts.)
I’m much more interested in monthly trends than day-by-day, or in this case minute-by-minute, statistics but new goodies make tempting experiments.

Try clicking on one of the dots on the map. Interesting little mash-up, eh?
Jay,
Have you noticed the map doesn’t appear on Firefox?
Que se passe-t-il ?

Peter, je vois la carte du monde. En Firefox (feu-renard?). Qu’est-ce qu’il-y-a avec toi?
