Hello. My name is Jay Cross. I use this site to share my views on eLearning, time, marketing, and whatever catches my fancy. It's a hobby as well as a professional endeavor. The navigation scheme is new as of May 6, 2001, and should be more reliable than what it replaces (no more Javascript-fu.) Please report glitches or suggestions to me. Thanks.

Octopus alert. This was the site map from mid-2000 to mid-2001. Usability testing showed it to be a great way to get lost.
BackgroundThis site was born in the early days, before Mosaic changed its name to Netscape, and has been changing ever since. In 1997, it morphed into a reference site for my research and predictions about what in time I named "eLearning." In early 1999, the eLearning Page took shape as a place to discover the basics. By late 2000, hundreds of companies claimed to be in the eLearning business, and the emphasis shifted from the basics to news, trends, and interpretation. Jay Cross, Berkeley, California |
