Instructor-centric Learning

In the traditional model, everything revolves around the instructor -- what is taught, where it's taught, and when it's taught.

The assumption is that learners all have similar preparation, learning styles, hunger to learn, and abilities. This is even less true for adults than for ten-year olds. Often the one-size-fits-all class caters to the lowest common denominator.
