| Situation: The mural depicting the history of corporate & executive education was prepared in advance and became the focal point of a discussion at a forum of fifty. As new points were raised, they were recorded on PostIt notes to enrich future versions of the mural. | Benefits: The graphic enabled everyone to track where we were. No one got lost during the discussion of issues stretching over a period of 120 years. Visual cues made it easy to discuss the relationships among variables over time. The map enabled the group to hop in at any point in the story to track new insights. |
